*Responsibility for end to end Learning & Development within the region.
*Define and implement regional learning & competence development strategies, to support the group strategy and local business priorities.
*Drive strategic and operational learning planning processes to ensure a tight alignment from business strategy to learning outcomes and investments. Set targets, measure & follow up learning effectiveness, return on expectations and improvement areas.
*Secure, support & drive competence across the product portfolio, job role and general competencies through contributing to the development of innovative global solutions, implementing global programs, as well as developing local solutions when appropriate. This position is ultimately responsible for delivery, adoption and measurement within their region for all L&D programs.
*Foster a learning culture amongst management and employees, through strong communications and driving a holistic approach to development. Drive utilization of both formal and informal methods, including of on-the-job methods, knowledge management and social learning & collaboration tools, bridging formal and informal learning.
*Ensure that learning operations activities are executed efficiently and that learning expenditures are optimized, including tight management and control of suppliers and employee spend.
*As part of the global Learning & Development leadership team, contribute to, adopt and drive global strategy, processes & frameworks working with Group Function L&D, shared service centres and the extended L&D network and stakeholders.
