Description

Key Role:
Provide security analysis to Air Force clients developing classified new weapon systems. Develop plans and approaches for managing facilities, people, data, and network operations. Plan, write, and implement security risk assessments, audit procedures, and intrusion detection approaches. Write plans and procedures to demonstrate compliance with standard DoD and Air Force guidance. Interact professionally as a team player with diverse subject matter experts, including Air Force clients, fellow Booz Allen teammates, and staff from other contractors. Present and defend analysis and recommendations to client leadership and external reviewers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience as a security specialist in an Air Force or DoD acquisition environment
-Experience with implementation and current DoD facility security policies
-Experience with personnel security policies and records check procedures
-Experience with information protection approaches, including documents, digital files, and networks
-Experience with office computer equipment and software, including Microsoft Office
-Top Secret clearance within past 5 years

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to be eligible for Tier 1 special access program, including no personal connections to foreign nationals and stable finances
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills suitable for interactions with client's senior leadership
-Possession of excellent presentation skills suitable for solo interactions with external auditors and inspectors
-BA or BS degree preferred
-Security Specialist Training

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
