Based out of the heart of Detroit, MI, we are an exciting new startup whose mission is to bring people together through rap music. We make this happen through a cutting-edge Real Time video website to spread the freestyle experience across the globe! We're seeking to hire a Lead Developer with Node.js, MongoDB, and Redis experience to help take us to the next level!
What you need for this position:
- Passion for music, more specifically freestyle rap
- We're running on Node.js, Mongodb, and Redis.
- In the client, we use websockets, soundmanager 2, and the opentok API.
- We're also adding facebook integration, leaderboards, and tournaments.
- Experience with deploying distributed systems on EC2 and websockets
- UI/UX Design experience with HTML5
What you'll be doing:
- Working on a cutting-edge Real Time video website to spread the freestyle experience across the globe
- Maintain our distributed Node.js architecture
- Expand our game with Websockets, SoundManager 2, and OpenTok API (TokBox)
- Complete social media integrations, leaderboards, and tournaments
