Job Title: SAP AMS Technical Lead/Manager

Salary: $120-160K

Location: Denver, CO

Rapidly growing Denver based technology firm has an immediate need for a SAP AMS Technical Lead/Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing overall technical activities of a large-scale SAP AMS Consultancy supporting multiple diverse SAP clients
• Developing and managing technical delivery, managing deadlines, and interdependencies across multiple initiatives
• Coordinating technical team's project team activities
• Defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones
• Setting, controlling, and managing scope
• Communicating status and vision to client management and stakeholders
• Overall team management, including regular evaluations
• Primary focus will be on driving the management and resolution of SAP client incidents and enhancements.
• Interacting directly with SAP AMS Mgr and SAP AMS Functional Lead/Manager
• Creating & presenting status reports to SAP AMS Mgr
• Managing an SAP AMS technical team consisting of diverse skill sets including ABAP, MDM, Portal, Security, Basis, Solution Manager, DOE, PI, etc.

Requirements:

• Proven Technical Project management experience with large, complex SAP Production Support environment (minimum of 10+ member teams) ideally with Fortune 500 organizations.
• Strong technical understanding of ECC 6.0
• Deep knowledge of technical system landscape design and interfaces
• Proven track record of delivering/managing production support environments "on-budget and on-time".
• Managing the technical team to definitive SLA's
• 5+ years of Project management experience including 5+ years in SAP.
• Bachelor's degree (ideally MBA or Masters)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, team skills.
• Solid understanding of SAP implementations and standard Project Life Cycle methodology
• Strong project management skills, proficient in MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint etc.
• Multiple SAP implementations and/or Production Support experience and SAP certification a plus.
• "Big 5" Management Consulting experience a plus.
• ITIL Understanding a must
• PMI/PMO Certification a plus.
