This is an exciting opportunity to be apart of something huge. Our well-established client is building a new Internet of Things platform and this a ground floor opportunity in a newly formed group. The primary objective is to manage and grow the profitability of the software product lines: revenue and gross margin.
The individual will have marketing responsibilities for the entire product life cycle for our client's meter data collection, presentment & management software products, inclusive of the four P's (Product, Price, Promotion, and Place).
Together with the Strategy Team, and in cooperation with the Director of Product Development and Deliver, the individual will develop & implement company strategy around SaaS products.
The individual will possess extensive knowledge of competitor's products to identify competitive sales threats.
The individual will have direct line responsibility to manage Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers &/or Marketing Applications Specialists.
Have direct line responsibility to manage Software Product Managers, Product Specialists and/or Marketing Applications Specialists.
The individual will:
Drive the SaaS marketing & delivery strategy for our hosted meter data collection, presentment & management solutions.
Build a deep understanding of the Customer and competitive environment.
Define product segmentation & value propositions for the SaaS offering, to build positioning, pricing & messaging.
Successful Candidate shall have a BS Engineering, Business or Applied Science. 7-10 Yrs industry experience.
Successful Candidate shall have minimum 5 years experience in B2B, SaaS and Software marketing
Special Skills/Training: Positive attitude and learning ability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A demonstrated ability to lead people. Working with minimum supervision. Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business software.
