Responsibilities

The Credit/Legal/Dating Specialist will spend approximately of their day analyzing Credit Applications and the remaining day assisting with legal or extended dating processing, at the direction of the Coordinator or Supervisor, as described below:

Credit Application Duties

Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Credit Applications on a daily basis.
Prepping the application to insure all required information is provided
Researching existing data base for existing accounts.
Logging information into Excel spreadsheet.
Evaluating Equifax and D&B reports to determine credit worthiness
Assist with mailing or faxing requests for additional information.
Provide quality, professional customer service to all internal and external A/R personnel.

Legal Account Duties
Responsible for assisting the Coordinator in smaller balance legal accounts and other duties as assigned.
Assist with final demand letters.
Assist with final collection calls.
Assist with Collection Agency monitoring and tracking.
Assist with Bankruptcy duties.

Extended Dating Duties

Responsible for assisting the Dating Specialist during peak periods and other duties as assigned.
Respond to incoming calls from the field requesting dating approval.
Compile all necessary documentation and approvals needed to complete dating.
Track all dating on appropriate spreadsheets
