We are seeking self-motivated, entry-level professionals who are eager to learn new technical skills for the position of Software Engineer within our Legal Technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full life-cycle of software development; including analysis, design, implementation and testing of new projects and features using a variety of technologies.
- Fulfill tasks as a member of an agile team, using agile practices (eg peer reviews and paired programming, Test Driven Development, daily stand up meetings).
- Design and develop data mappings using Informatica PowerCenter and B2B Data Transformation.
- Extend, enhance and maintain current systems to allow for flexibility, stability, and scalability while preserving existing functionality.
- Aid in troubleshooting and resolving application incidents.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews with business partners and other engineers.
- Work collaboratively with others in a team-based environment.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related software technology field.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience or coursework in the following technologies:
- Java J2EE based application development
- XML parsing using Java
- IDE & Enterprise Source Code Control tools (eg Eclipse)
- Relational database (eg SQL, DB2/Oracle 9 or higher)
