Description
Key Role:
Provide the technical, acquisition, and engineering expertise to support the Expeditionary Facilities and Equipment Modernization program with initial emphasis on the Hardened Infrastructure Protection Persistent Operations (HIPPO), Airfield Damage Repair (ADR), Rapid Airfield Damage Assessment (RADAS) initiatives, and Multiple UXO Removal Systems (MURS). Coordinate with the various organizations involved in the program to analyze requirements documents, implementation directives, transition management plans, capability development documents, logistics detail, test plans, and other required documents associated with testing and fielding new technologies. Conduct technical research and evaluation of electrical micro-grids, photovoltaic cells for shelters and other power applications, energy efficient HVAC systems, hygiene systems, high voltage power generators, and other systems supporting expeditionary operations. Provide logistics planning support for modernization, including Expeditionary Facilities and Equipment Modernization solutions. Monitor and resolve logistics limiting factors, extract and interpret data from automated information systems, determine equipment and vehicle requirements, and prepare authorization and procurement packages. Analyze War Readiness Material (WRM) reports to validate constraints and develop planning factors. Plan and organize air transportation activities, including determining mode and cost of commercial transportation to move equipment, vehicles, and material.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with logistics planning and related support
-Experience with Federal Logistics Data (FEDLOG) and Logistics Installations and Mission Support-Enterprise View (LIMS-EV)
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
-Secret clearance required
-HS diploma or GED required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for effective internal and external communications
-Ability to share information and integrate heavily integration with government client and contract team
-Ability to work well in a team setting
-Possession of excellent customer service skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
