Responsibilities:

-Lead a team of 2-3 production DBAs.
-Monitor and maintain multiple production SQL Servers on single/clustered 2005/2008/2012 environments.
-Implement DBA best practices along with company policies.
-Maintain high availability and redundancy to ensure there are not gaps according to company policies.
-Install and upgrade SQL Server.
-Implement and maintain SQL Server 2008/2012 Merge/Transactional replication.
-Maintain logs/living documentation as necessary.
-Resolve issues in a timely manner.
-Take ownership of issues and projects.
-Meet project deadlines.
-Implement changes according to company policies.
-Provide 24/7 production support on an on-call rotation basis.

Qualifications:

-5-10 working years using Microsoft SQL Server products.
-Managerial experience required.
-TSQL, Powershell, SSIS/BIDS, SSMA, SQL 2005, SQL 2008, SQL 2012, SQL/Windows clustering.
-Merge/Transactional Replication, Mirroring.
