Ensure that physical inventories and cycle counts are performed in compliance with the Corporate Controller's Policy with support from the Inventory Control Manager.
Act as Sarbanes Oxley (S-Ox) sub-Control Owner (Inv-11 & Inv-5)
- Ensure adherence to all WMS/S-Ox policies and procedures related to inventory.
- Perform activities & reporting related to inventory accuracy
- Monitor Cycle Counting process to ensure system compliance
Support National Inventory Analyst with daily balancing of WMS to SAP.
- Monitoring, tracking and correcting of shipping errors
- Proper invoicing of customer shipments
- Timely processing of SAP activity that fails upload feed
- Ensure OS&D and lost is investigated and resolved.
- Work with Customization Team on production reconciliations.
- Daily Snapshot variance resolution
- Monitor cycle counts and system adjustments to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
- Provide research and documentation for compliance with Research Requests submitted by CFS.
- Execute Reverse Logistics process and response for Dallas SC along with communication to 3PL.
- Support Inventory Control team initiatives around aging inventory in regards to customer returns.
- Act as backup for Inventory Control Specialist - IRP.
- Provide proper information to corporate damage team for freight claim reconciliation.
- Ensure third party compliance to Quality Hold procedures.
- Manage Quality Hold process in the warehouse management system complete weekly hold reconciliations.
- Ensure timely disposition of QAHD takes place including rework, dump and donate.
- Perform the releases of quality hold product in WMS.
- Manage R&D tests as requested of the site.
- Perform daily production releases from Incubation to Shippable status.
- Ensure proper coordination of product donations, dumps and employee sales in conjunction with all corporate guidelines.
- Ensure appropriate procedures are followed for offering, entering and monitoring of GMR orders.
- Assist with period end duties.
- Filing of all BOL's and pertinent reports.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in logistics related field preferred
- One to two years' experience in inventory control, logistics operations, or related supply chain function.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, and show an ability to work and participate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess strong analytical skills, including problem analysis and resolution.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Warehouse Management System - preferably Red Prairie DLX software, and SAP.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach in resolving inventory related issues.
- Understanding of operational/inventory strategies that require a comprehensive knowledge of inventory activities and financial impact.
