RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • PM, setup, troubleshoot, repair and modify manufacturing process equipment including associated computerize control systems and supporting equipment.
  • Specific responsibility maintaining Tablet Presses and Capsule Fillers.
  • Maintain cGMP compliance on automated process equipment and controls.
  • Follow SOPs on maintenance, and repair of automated and manual pharmaceutical process and production equipment, instrumentation and controls.
  • Assist in the execution of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of automated process equipment Servers, stand alone computers and client HMI stations.

SKILLS

Walking/Bending/Sitting required. 5 to 8 years of work on process equipment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Specific knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing compression practices and hands on experience in the operation, setup, repair and modification of Tablet Presses. Specific knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing encapsulation practices and hands on experience in the operation, setup, repair and modification of Capsule Filler machines. Experience in working in a GMP environment. Skills in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting of pharmaceutical process and production equipment, specifically Tablet Presses and Capsule Fillers. Skills in Windows operating systems, computer applications and system user management. Skills in PLC programming and maintenance (ladder logic). Skills in GMP regulations such as change control, documentation, equipment maintenance, etc.
