Summary
The Bond & Financial Products IT organization is seeking an experienced and motivated Development Lead to work within our development teams. We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, Microsoft client and server infrastructure knowledge, strong knowledge of the software release life cycle, strong multi-tiered application and database development abilities.
This role focuses on the delivery and development of existing and new solutions that align with our department-s strategic platform vision. The position blends design and programming work with technical oversight of consulting resources.

Preferred Experience
3+ years of design and development experience
3+ years Microsoft .NET experience
3+ years Microsoft SQL Server experience
Experience with ASP.NET and VB.NET, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experience with .NET Framework 4.0, XML, AJAX and SQL Server 2005

Competencies
Experience with agile development and Scrum methodologies desired
Must be proficient in the Microsoft .NET platform and have strong technical design and programming skills
Strong MS SQL Server T-SQL, or equivalent SQL experience
Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
Object-oriented design experience (UML a plus)
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, partners, and customers
Ability to develop and present technical concepts to a business audience is desired
Understanding and experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Ability to rapidly learn technical/business techniques and disciplines
Strong commitment to high quality work and timely deliverables
Insurance knowledge is a plus
