As a provider of state-of-the-art enterprise class data centers in numerous markets we are in growth mode looking to add to our leadership team. With a focus on unique customer solutions we have grown to become one of the largest privately owned data center companies on the West Coast. Currently, we are looking to hire an experienced Regional Data Center Director to oversee our data centers in the Las Vegas, NV area.
What you need for this position:
- 5+ years multi-site data center management experience in facilities greater than 50,000 Sq. ft.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including facilities management
- Strong HVAC knowledge
- Experience managing IT equipment including virtualization and server consolidation strategies
- Mechanical or Electrical Certification is a huge plus
- Ability to wear multiple hats and collaborate is extremely important
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee and manage facility infrastructure related to scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of HVAC, mechanical and electric systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct facility inspections and generate reports
- Oversee and direct data center management and engineers
- Interact with clients and vendors creating relationships to promote customer interaction and contract management
- Budget preparation and reporting
- Manage ERP planning
- Collaborate with peers in other markets to create best practices and optimal results
- Oversee construction of facilities including facility entrance, co-location server cabinets, cage layouts and Fiber builds
- 24-hour on call escalation
