Job Description:

Data Warehouse Application Support The Data Warehouse Application Support Developer performs high complexity (ie system level applications) production issue analysis, root cause determination, resolution of prod issues, on call Rotation and perform Infrastructure analysis.
The candidate also need to do design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents for new enhancement or defect tickets.
The candidate must be familiar with the development life cycle and must be proficient in querying databases via SQL or other tools.

Skills and Expertise:

- Expertise with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including production support.
- Ability to translate high level business requirements into database and ETL requirements
- SAS on Mainframe experience is a MUST.
- Experience in Ab-Initio preferred. May consider any other ETL tool.
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of scheduling tools such as AutoSys
- JCL knowledge and Mainframe logs analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting desired
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Occasional support on off hours and weekend is required.
- Exp in Remedy, Clear Case, Clearquest is preferred.
- Ability to multitask is critical
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
- Professional certification(s) desired

Minimum Work Experience:

5 - 7+ years software development experience
