Job Description: The Open Source Technology Center within the Software and Services Group is looking for Linux software developers and technical leads to develop optimized graphics and media technologies for cross-OS Linux based platforms. In this position, you will be responsible for development in an open source environment on new Intel architectures that span Intel's device platforms, from enterprise to consumer electronics. Behavioral traits for this position include: self-motivated, ability to influence cross-groups technical stakeholder and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated record of technical leadership including producing well-documented architecture and design work, and directing technical teams. The work may include development of drivers, graphics, and windowing systems.

Qualifications

MS or PHD in computer science related field

Candidate must have 1+ years of work or educational experience with the following.
- C/C++ knowledge
- Linux device drivers, especially graphics, video, and display
- OpenGL, EGL, and/or GLES

Preferred skills and experience:
Minimum of 1 or more years of experience in any of following areas:
- Embedded Linux development, debug & test
- Working with Open Source Software community, including success with getting code accepted in upstream open source projects.
