Position Duties/Responsibilities (Indicate in more detail the functions of this specific position)

Assigned to the Construction function reporting directly to the Manager of Construction the Construction Manager will be responsible for functional oversight across multiple projects to ensure project compliance to safety, quality and progress performance. The Construction Manager will ensure adequate project staffing and will support all functional and GBU initiatives.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

- Thorough knowledge of all phases of construction operations relating to engineering, construction and field activities.
- Thorough knowledge of construction technologies and jobsite management.
- Broad knowledge of the impact and effect of using field automation tools.
- Broad knowledge of environmental compliance laws and requirements.
- Broad knowledge of government compliance standards.
- Knowledge and application of Bechtel's Zero Accident Safety Philosophy.
- Broad knowledge of Bechtel Construction Standard Work Process Procedures.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma program.
- Thorough knowledge of current industry standards.
- Knowledge of company and project quality policies

Basic Job Requirements:

- Previous Experience as Site Manager with International Experience
- Experience with LNG Plants
- Ability to review, understand and contribute to project execution plans and schedules
- At least 15 years experience in heavy industrial construction.
- Minimum of 5 years field non-manual supervision.
- Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Work includes field inspections and the physical ability to conduct field inspections which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (ie harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.)
