The Quality Control Supervisor will provide direction to the hourly team to meet Quality Control requirements. In this role you will work within defined parameters to made decisions, apply concepts to complex issues, and resolve Production Quality concerns through immediate action or short-term planning. You will be responsible for adherences to the Quality Management System, Audits, ISO certification and Quality Plans/ITPs for all products including oversight of traceability requirements. Essential Responsibilities: In addition, you will:


  • Lead a team of hourly employees to support the business
  • Work with Engineering and Product Service to identify root causes and solve external quality issues
  • Maintain product knowledge as new products are released
  • Support all current Technical Support Agreements, Supporting Services Agreements, or other support related agreements
  • Implement and direct the application of assigned resources to drive Quality Controls for delivery of reliable products and services that meet and fulfill customer's needs and expectations
  • Drive conformance of product to quality plans
  • Analyze drivers of poor Quality and reliability issues to develop and implement improvement plans
  • Reduce COQ, DPMO, and Warranty through establishment of metric driven Quality culture
  • Maintain manufacturing records for all products
  • Follow product regulatory processes to manage global technical regulations
  • Support daily schedule attainment in meeting all internal and external customer commitments
  • Accomplish goals while maintaining high team morale, employee involvement, safety and teamwork Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from and accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years' of experience in a production Supervisor position)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

  • Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift and weekends Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
