Software Engineer

About the Role and Responsibilities
Location: Idaho Falls, ID

About the Role:
The software engineer will be responsible for working on an AGILE team to design, develop and integrate 3rd party software into a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) product. This involves working directly with junior and senior team members and members of the Test/QA staff during development and testing. The candidate will also be responsible for working with customers throughout the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks that include program development, testing and maintenance
- Gather requirements for development and execution of projects
- Integrate with 3rd party teams/software to transfer their data into the SIEM
- Be a participating member of an AGILE/SCRUM development team

Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows
- Proficient with C/C++ and Perl
- Familiarity with .NET and Java
- Must have solid written and verbal communication skills
- Be a strong team player
