Security Engineer

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Security Engineer to join our client in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, evaluate and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal and external information systems, including but not limited to threat identification, social engineering, root cause analysis, corrective action plans.
- Research, recommend and work alongside Cloud Services and the larger community to implement changes to policies, procedures, systems, and application development to enhance security.
- Periodic systems security testing.
- Provide security expertise to pre-sales discussions, RFP responses and customer audits.
- Educate and communicate security requirement and procedures to all team members.
- Periodic and special report development.
- Development and documentation of security policies and procedures.
- Change management documentation and participation to ensure that all changes meet security guidelines.

Job Qualifications:
- At least six (6) years of experience in a systems administration or engineering role.
- At least three (3) years of experience in security administration and/or security compliance and with developing IT policies and procedures.
- Overall working knowledge of networking concepts and Windows Server infrastructure is a must.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Leadership and technical drive required across multi-functional teams and departments.
- BS in computer related field or equivalent related work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows 2003 and 2008 server operating systems. Microsoft Certifications (such as MCP or MCSA) are preferred.
- CISSP and or CCNA Certification is desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted is helpful.
