We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer with at least 3 years machinery design experience to join our newly acquired organization.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for mechanical engineering and motion system design for precision motion platforms
- Duties will include proposal development and presentation to customers, motion specification development, developing system design concepts, coordinating project activities, testing and evaluation of systems, field installation and customer training
-Heavy emphasis on project management and the individual will be required to work closely with the commercial team, the project design team and the end customer
- The candidate is expected to participate in concurrent programs involving 2 to 5 person engineering teams. A high degree of direct interaction with the customer is expected
What you need:
- Machinery design a must!
- 3+ years with coordinating and managing the design phase of a technical engineering project including packaging
- 5 years experience with precision motion system design, preferably for precision manufacturing applications (semiconductor, flat panel display, hard disk drive, precision machining, etc.)
- Prior experience in designing and manufacturing high precision machinery
- Prior experience in using solid modeling CAD software for mechanical design.
- Bachelors degree a must-Master's a plus!
