Database Administrator - SQL Server, SaaS, PL/SQL Database Administrator If you are a Database Administrator with experience, please read on!
What you need for this position:
- Multiple years working for enterprise corporations, preferably SaaS, in highly efficient and dynamic teams, using different hardware and software platforms.
- Industry certifications across various database technologies; primarily Oracle
- Solid experience working with different database solutions (SQL Server, MySQL, Mirth, SQLite, MongoDB)
- Mastery of Linux and/or Windows operating systems and technologies that run on each.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex database problems.
- Experience performance tuning, optimizing (queries, indexes, etc.) using native and commercial tools.
- Experience with High-Availability clustered database solutions (RAC)
- Deep understanding and experience with Disaster Recovery and enterprise backup solutions.
- Deep understanding and experience with OLTP and OLAP systems.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control
- Experience with security regulations (HIPAA, SOX etc.)
- Team player intensely focused on contributing to our culture and making the world a better place to live.

What you'll be doing:
- Acts as the highest level of database support for all of our production systems/services
- Ensure the security and integrity of our data by establishing and documenting appropriate standards, procedures and guidelines for data handling and storage
Design, install, maintain, and tune database management systems; primarily Oracle but also SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, SQLite, and Mirth
- Automate database changes using stand-alone stored procedures as well as PL/SQL packages.
- Determine when it†s appropriate to proof of concept open source products versus traditional technologies.
- Liaison with product development and engineering in a true DevOps role
