Job Description
Position Overview:
Manage Taco Bell's Operations Engineering Team while maintaining direct accountability as cross-functional team member/leader on multiple projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the Operations (Industrial) Engineering team and all productivity projects .
Innovate and lead continuous improvement and LEAN projects for Taco Bell Back-of-House (BOH) operations.

o Preparation process
o Product line process
o Labor efficiency
o Drive-thru operations
Lead Margin Improvement projects to flow $5 Million per year to the bottom line.
Maintain all Industrial Engineering tools and standards - simulation, time standards, and analytical models.
Supervise the Operations Engineering Team to develop labor standards and labor tables, determine ingredient pack sizes, and provide layout recommendations.
Design BOH Equipment Kitchen Layout Design.
Manage vendors, suppliers, consultants, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Industrial Engineering; MS/MBA preferred
- 9+ years Industrial Engineering experience
- Communication skills (Presentation Decks and Public Speaking) a must
- Ability to formally and informally network to disseminate information, gain consensus and/or resolve issues
- High proficiency in MS Excel and Power point required
