Mechanical Engineer - Research

Yoh has a contract position for a Mechanical Engineer - Research to join our client in Irvine, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for conducting research and design of experimental testing on bio-medical instrumentation and devices.
- Mechanical Engineer will also lead efforts in Protocol Development, Data collection, Analysis and Technical report writing.
- Other responsibilities include Test Setup and Competitive Testing.
- Perform routine Management of laboratory space and supplies

Job Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
- Minimum four (4) years relevant experience
- Hands on experience with test instruments
- Skilled with a microscope and video imaging
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, LabVIEW Software, MATLAB Software
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Access

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
- Machine shop experience
