Exciting large entertainment company is looking for a fast paced Senior Programmer Analyst with Java experience to work within the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and Big Data development team. We are offering a great stable and profitable company environment and we need to hire ASAP!
The candidate will be responsible for participation on multiple project teams and provides our company with innovative business solutions that fit system constraints, meet user needs and match the company†s strategic outlook using technologies like Java, Spring and TIBCO.
What you need for this position:
-4+ years work experience in jobs with systems analysis and design, implementation, training, and testing required.
- Strong programming and analytical skills
-XML, JMS preferred
- PC literacy, including desktop applications competency
- Knowledge of Java technologies with hands-on Java/Spring/TIBCO experience
-Implementing solutions using Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Mahout a plus!
-TIBCO products (Business Works, Business Events, EMS, RV) a plus!
What you'll be doing:
-Analyze existing systems and databases, and recommend enhancements to solve identified business needs
-Perform all aspects of internal system acceptance testing, ensuring delivery of well-tested system enhancements, and further ensuring systems meet business requirements
-Advise user departments about functional design and impact on departmental operations
-Trouble-shoot incidents reported by end-users, escalating where necessary to schedule system changes
-Support business objectives by investigation of user needs and development of innovative ideas for solutions
