SAIC is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer in Little Rock, AR. Description of Work: Responsible for performing technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for data network systems. Total network design may include concept design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Plans and executes highly complex engineering activities. This position functions as the technical lead for all design-to-cost and life cycle activities for small to large-scale data network projects, works on complex problems, and establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). May supervise a team of multi-disciplinary personnel as a technical lead to ensure congruence of the various hardware, software, communications and interface approaches. Responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments. Interacts with management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.

Qualifications:
Required Education/Skills: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline (or in lieu of a degree substituted with CCNP or CCIE and 4 years of experience). 8+ years of related experience required. Desired Skills: Strong understanding of complex designs and architectures of Network Infrastructure equipment. Familiarization with network management and troubleshooting tools. Understanding of packet level networking.
