TV Reclamation Advanced Diagnostic Agent - Tear Down & Reclaim
World Class Reclamation team is looking for a high caliber, energetic, enthusiastic addition.
The TV Reclamation Advanced Diagnostic Agent must be an expert in the field of diagnosing and testing consumer electronics. They must be team oriented as this role is depended upon to maintain a consistent work rhythm by the entire team. They must also be detail oriented and be able to quickly identify symptoms of consumer electronics.
TV Reclamation Advanced Diagnostic Agents play an important role on Geek Squad City's team by providing technical knowledge and experience to a team responsible for providing high quality parts to our customers at low costs. This includes proper diagnosing, training, analyzing and handling of TV's and other consumer electronics.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing TV's and other consumer electronics to component level
- Rebuilding TV's and other consumer electronics
- Provide clear communication to reclamation and customer departments
- Facilitate the communication of questions and issues from employees, partners and customers to leadership
- Reading and translating electronic schematics and following wire diagrams
- Writing service bulletins for the field
- Training Reclamation Agents in best practice
- Running or assisting in root cause analysis
Basic Qualifications:
- Enrolled in electronics certification/technical courses
- 1 year diagnosing TV's or other Consumer Electronics
- 6 months experience using multi-meter, oscilloscope, and other test equipment
- 6 months experience applying electronic theory to real world application
- 6 months work experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronics
- Strong in theory of electronics
- Ability to troubleshoot analog circuits
- 2 years of component level troubleshooting
- 6 months Smart Parts experience
