- Good writing/documentation skills

Job Description:
Manages the daily activities, of the Systems Performance Group (Business Analysts) to ensure all scheduled work, special requests and all other related tasks are performed in accordance with established standards and deadlines. The System Performance group owns the production environments for all operational clients. Plan the work assignment for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment. Conducts interviews, performance evaluations and salary planning for department personnel. Serves as a member of the product system user group. Enforce consistency and standards across client production systems.
Position responsibilities:
- Manages the daily activities of the Business Analysts ensuring all scheduled work is performed in accordance with established quality and accuracy standards.
- Determines appropriate staffing based on work to be done, new business and lost business.
- Monitors quality and efficiency of work. Drives improvements.
- Identifies and manages applying new releases, patches, upgrades, etc. to the production system
- Prioritizes client and global enhancements/improvements to benefit systems.
- Established individual performance standards and goals and communicates to associates through performance planning. Provides periodic performance feedback versus objectives and conducts annual reviews on all associates. Responsible for department hiring and terminations as required.
- Manages and maintains production budgetary expenses in line with projected plans.
- Prepares and/or reviews and approves department performance reports and submits to management according to scheduled deadlines. Participates in the decision-making proves within the region as required, concerning BA support issues and procedures.
Qualifications Required:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
- Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: External Candidate: Minimum 4 years experience as a Manager in benefits administration/HRIS environment. Internal Candidate: Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role, or years experience in a regional management role of equal ranking.
- Generic Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Well organized and disciplined at time management. Must excel at providing direction and coaching to direct reports. Must be visible and regularly communicate with front line associates. In-depth knowledge of systems and database management.
