Senior Business Systems Analyst
Key Candidate Profile:
Strong experience and knowledge of the SDLC, requirements gathering and documentation, and software release processes. Must have exposure to Benefits Administration or related Human Resources systems.

Position Overview:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will support ADP's Spending Account Management Systems (SAMS) by gathering requirements for software functionality and documenting specifications with a focus on developing solutions. Will work with cross-functional teams to develop requirements and performing support for software solutions through the SDLC and post-production releases.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis (40%) - Conducts structured analysis according to SDLC standards and prepares analysis documentation, including User Stories, Use Cases, or other requirements documentation. These documents serve as input to the creation of program specifications, test plans, user and system documentation, and training development and are used in all subsequent phases of the life cycle.
- Design (20%) - Develops and documents design alternatives to satisfy user, business, statutory, and system requirements. Presents alternatives to users and impacted areas to facilitate design decisions and gain consensus.
- Testing Support (10%) - Assists in the development of functional testing requirements for new or existing system features. Conducts system walkthrough and formal review.
- Support (10%) - Provides assistance to other staff members and development groups on selected business and technical issues. Assists in estimating and scheduling of a project or project tasks. Provides assistance to the IT Organization to troubleshoot and resolve problems and to explore opportunities for enhancement and improvement.
- Knowledge (15%) - Remains up-to-date on all systems analysis tools by reading related material and taking courses. Acquires business knowledge by learning the daily business operations of ADP and by obtaining a solid understanding of ADP products and features.
- Other (5%) - Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Prefer Degree or Equivalent in Education & Experience. Bachelors or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or Math preferred, or equivalent technical experience
- Ability to resolve a wide range of technical and business issues with limited supervision
- Working knowledge of Relational Databases and data extraction, including SQL Queries.
- Excellent communication, planning, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong focus on clients (associate support teams).
- Detail-oriented individual capable of working both independently and within a team.
- Must have schedule flexibility to work in a rotational support structure.
- Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies.
- Experience in the HR, Payroll and Benefits domain space is required.
