The Implementation Business Analyst (BA) in ADP's Talent Management Solutions Business Unit works with clients and internal project teams to implement Talent Management applications. The BA will facilitate requirements gathering sessions to determine business needs, map the requirements to product functionality and design solutions for gaps between requirements and product functionality. The BA will document the functionality to be implemented, review the requirements with the development team, work with developers throughout the development phase, work with the Quality Assurance team to create test plans and scripts, assist in testing, coordinate defect resolution throughout all project phases and provide client production support. The position requires up to 10% travel.
This is a client-facing role supporting the following products: Compensation Planner, Performance Manager, Succession Planning, and LMS (Learning Management)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with clients to determine business requirements and rules
- Map requirements to product functionality and create design solutions for any gaps
- Create and maintain the Business Requirements Documentation used in configuring and developing client systems
- Facilitate internal requirements sessions with development team to present the requirements and proposed design
- Work with the technical lead and developers throughout the implementation as the subject matter expert
- Work with the Quality Assurance team to create and execute test plans
- Replicate client defects, perform initial defect analysis and assign to appropriate developers
- Troubleshoot data issues including querying the database to identify and resolve data issues
- Participate in internal and external team meetings
- Facilitate client training, as needed
- Work closely with Project Manager to ensure successful implementations
- Manage three to five projects at any given time
Qualifications Required:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
- Minimum of three to five years experience as a Client Facing Business Analyst/Consultant.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid communication skills - both written and oral
- Strong client facing skills
- Ability to facilitate team meetings and meet project deadlines
- Solid knowledge of SQL
- Experience in HR related field
- BA/BS degree
