The Senior Director, Product Marketing is responsible for helping to develop and implement the integrated strategic vision of the Talent Management product set targeted for the ADP market. He or she will ensure that marketing strategies are in close alignment with the organizations long term objectives, maximizes ADP's growth potential and achieves sales, revenue and profitability goals. The Sr. Director must build strong relationships with external customers and prospects as well as a broad internal cross-functional team of ADP stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to develop business requirements and client experience throughout all stages of the development cycle and offering.

This role reports to the Vice President Product Management and works in close partnership with the sales operations, sales enablement and product teams supporting National and Multi-National Accounts, as well as the broader corporate marketing functions. This position requires a strategic, critical thinker with experience in development of channel, marketing and communication strategies, product positioning and value proposition creation and on-going strategic analysis of the business and market. Due to the vast market size, market segmentation and execution of lead generation, campaigns and activities across multiple markets and multiple business areas is essential.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide an outside in view of the HCM world to ADP. A key requirement of this position is to drive competitive awareness, technological opportunity and best practices into the ADP organization. Create and implement product marketing strategies that support the growth of the National Accounts (large market), Major Accounts (mid-Market) and Small Business (under 100) Services which elevate ADP's position in the HCM market and clearly articulates our value proposition.
- Act as the interface between Product Management and Corporate marketing ensuring adequate marketing plans, launch plans and communications are created and followed for go to market. Responsible for driving the marketing plan for the portfolio.
- Central point of ownership for all product marketing activities in support of the product strategy.
- Support the quickly growing global offerings which are centered on a North American solution today, but driving quickly to multiple country expansion. This requires working with other product management and product marketing professionals across the globe.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the competitive landscape to build sustainable, differentiated competitive positioning that clearly highlight why ADP wins in the market place. Competitive analysis within standard CI frameworks is a critical skill.
- Implement and maintain solid measurement and metrics. Track and analyze the effectiveness product changes, subsequent improvements to ROI in services, sales expense and implementation expense.
- Serve as key liaison with industry analysts and other external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Identify key industry trends. Keep up to date on all regulatory issues and other industry initiatives that impact ADP's business.
- Create content and messaging for executive positioning, 'selling ideas up' and content for tradeshows, promotions, etc.

Qualifications Required:

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in education and work experience.
- MBA degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in a marketing or product marketing role.
- Solid knowledge and experience managing complex projects and budgets to ensure appropriate resources are allocated and aligned with the company's strategic objectives and priorities.
- Knowledge of the Talent Management marketplace is highly desirable.
- Critical Skills:
- Exceptional business acumen with a deep understanding of client and prospects most critical business issues and the ability to translate ADP's service capabilities into real business value.
- Thrives in an environment of creativity, idea generation and excels in driving new efforts from ideation to flawless execution and meaningful measurements. Comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong leadership skills to influence across organizational lines and executive presence as well as outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, presentation and process facilitation skills with the ability to present his/her views in a compelling manner.Excellent PowerPoint skills and the ability to create compelling graphics and other visuals to help tell a story.
- Demonstrated experience in building breakthrough product positioning and go to market strategies, marketing campaigns using a mix of interactive, content, social and sales enablement strategies.
- Highly collaborative team builder who can lead with the knowledge, intellect and temperament to work effectively in a fast-paced, energetic and complex environment. A high degree of personal initiative, results orientation and integrity are essential.
- Highly evolved analytical skills to ensure clear analysis and sound data based decision-making.
