We are developing a state-of-the-art Geospatial Platform from the ground up (FLCD) to support the GIS data and information needs of multiple federal agencies. This will include building several site specific modules, as well as integrating existing modules, and connecting to several external databases and data.gov.
What's the job?
- Design, build, and deploy a comprehensive Drupal 7
- Assist the Technical Lead in gathering requirements for a Drupal based platform
- 90% Back end development building custom modules
- Interact with the Program Manager, Lead Technologist, and System Administrator to ensure program schedule and milestones are met
What you need for the position?
- Drupal Back End expertise building custom modules
- Experience with APIs
- JavaScript and CSS skills
Desired Qualifications/Experience
-Experience using Amazon Web Services
-Knowledge of Flex, Objective-C/iOS
-GIS Experience
-Knowledge of Databases specifically MySQL
-Knowledge of other Content Management Systems
