Insurance Restoration Construction Superintendent - Construction Construction Project Coordinator - Emergency Restoration

We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Emergency Services Construction Superintendent with carpentry experience to become a key member at one of the nation's fastest growing Insurance Restoration Construction Companies located in the Alexandria, Virginia area.

We are in search of an EMERGENCY SERVICES CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT with carpentry experience who will be responsible for assisting the production department with completion of mitigation and construction-related projects. This will require site visits, customer service, productivity and quality control.

Responsibilities include:

* Prior to starting the job:
* Being available for routine on call emergency services and after-hours work.
* Assess mitigation jobs/assignments and prepare as needed.
* Meet with property managers, homeowners to review the process and have required paperwork signed.
* Manage technicians/crews on the job.
* Oversee the quality of work being performed.
* Manage mitigation schedule and communicate to PM.

* During Mitigation/Construction:

* Taking assigned projects to completion based on written scope of repairs.
* Physically working on production as necessary to assure job meets production expectations and deadlines.
* Responsible for the finished product. Quality and efficiency.
* Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site.
* Developing professional relationships and working with subcontractors..* Responsible for the finished product of the subcontractors.
* Work with lead carpenter to assure the projects are being produced on time and on budget.

This is not a glamorous position. It requires working in tough conditions including large water losses, sewer damage and fire/smoke damage. Hot and cold conditions are always likely as well.
