Seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our team. As PSE, you will architect, design, test & support integration of software systems using Agile methodologies.
- "Wrapping†Legacy systems/components as Web Services within a SOA framework.
- Develop solutions integrating and extending COTS products.
- Develop Framework infrastructure & services within one SOA design patterns.
- Performance tuning/optimization of service-based infrastructure and services.
- XML Document Familiarity (ie XSDs, XLST, DOM, SAX, STaX).
- Experience with User Interface Development (JQuery, ExtJS, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
An ideal candidate will have:
~ Required TS/SCI full scope polygraph.
~ Minimum 15 years in software development/engineering: requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
~ 8 years developing software using Java.
~ 8 years in programming and development of application software for complex systems and software testing.
~ 6 years developing software for UNIX and Linux operating systems.
~ Planning, accomplishing goals, complicated tasks, and providing consultation on complex projects as top-level contributor or specialist.
~ Implementation of Web Services and Web Services clients (ie SOAP, REST, Spring Web Services, Apache AXIS).
~ Common Java application Frameworks, & APIs (ie Spring)
~ 8 years in programming and development of application software for complex systems and software testing.
Pluses to have:
- Development within the Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
- Architect, design, develop, test & supporting integration of Hadoop and MapReduce frameworks
- Relational databases (ie MySQL, Oracle)
- Basic understanding of testing with JUnit
- Version control using Subversion, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus
- Developing of custom adapters allowing the integration of Legacy (ie, capabilities not developed as services) capabilities with service-based Framework infrastructure and services
- Java Application Security (ie J2EE Security, Spring Framework)
- Understanding of Enterprise Java Web application development
