JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC's Cyber Security division is seeking a Program Manager to operate within our Threat and Security Operations Services. The TSOS has been operating in commercial and federal markets for over ten years and is experiencing strong growth this year.

The candidate will work closely with senior technical architects, System Engineers, Team Leads and SMEs and all levels of management to ensure that Security Services are provided to the customer as outlined in the customers contract. The candidate will be expectected to meet with partners and customers as needed. Provide regular status summaries and reports to management.

- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize the activities and personnel associated with providing Managed Security Services (MSS) to the customer as outlined in the contract statement of work.
- Manage security system integration and development efforts.
- Ensure that all phases of support, including installation, upgrades, and configuration issues are properly coordinated, tracked, monitored and resolved.
- Oversee projects and provide strategic management and objectives for the organization and develop and manage training programs to educate users on the various customer systems
- Oversee the development of process and procedures focused on maximizing the effectiveness of resources to enhance business operations, identifying and managing risk associated with the customer and contract.
- Manage all aspects of both the contract vehicle and awarded multiple task orders to include cost, schedule, staffing, and technical performance.
- Manage subcontractor requirements and performance.
- Serve as the primary SAIC point of contact with the customer for the contract.
- Plan, coordinate and manage contract actions as required by the customer and SAIC.
- Provide substantial support and leadership in proposals for competed task orders.
- Provide leadership and direction of personnel performing complex tasks.
- Frequently interact with subordinates, task leaders, supervisors, subcontractors, support personnel, customers, and/or functional peer group managers.

Qualifications

:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Typical Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (1). For research, development, system integration, or projects with high technical content, a B.S. in a relevant technical field may be required. For projects with lower technical content (eg, services or transactions), a business administration or other degree may be preferred. Experience in Managing Projects and Track Record: Prior Project experience required, at least 5+ years experience working on projects or programs, with at least 2 years of successful task lead experience. Organization PM Training: Organization Core Curriculum or equivalency for Project Type 1: electives based on assessment. Certifications: PMP® or other certification (eg DAWIA) highly recommended.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Technical projects.
Experience managing large programs with multiple subcontractors.
- Experience with proposal writing, scheduling and budgeting.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification desired.

Desired:
- Experience with Security related technologies.
- IT or Security related education and/or certifications.
- Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) or other program management certification.
