Description:

The Integrated Systems Group of SAIC is looking for a Microsoft .NET Software Engineer to join our Automated Law Enforcement Information Access System (ALIAS) Development Team in McLean, Virginia. (Potential limited travel to Alaska).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full lifecycle software development including the design, development, maintenance, and testing.
Working with a small development team the Software Engineer will translate use cases into data models, classes, screen layouts and other design artifacts.
From the design, the Software Engineer will implement the database and software and assist with the review and unit testing of software under development.
When a phase of development completes, the Software Engineer will be responsible for developing system test cases, integration testing the software and assisting with the deployment to the Alaska DMV.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree and 3+ Years of Microsoft .NET C# Development Experience. Additional years experience, training and certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.
1+ Year of SQL Server Experience in developing Data Models and Stored Procedures.
A security clearance is not required for this work, however the candidate must have a clear criminal history and be able to pass a background check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
DMV systems subject matter expertise.
Windows Forms and/or Windows Presentation Foundation development.
.NET Entity Framework development.
XML Stylesheet development.
Web Service development.
