Project Manager Storage Design and Implementation

Yoh has a career enhancing contract opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our premiere client in McLean VA.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the design and implementation of shared services (ex: OMS, monitoring, AD, DNS) for Meadowville
- Coordinate with Facility Build and Migration workstreams to ensure timely delivery of shared services
- Own vendor management functions as needed within these technologies
- Create and maintain a MSProject schedule for consolidation into the IT Build Project Plan for Meadowville
- Create a weekly dashboard for MDC IT Build: Shared Services workstream
- Adhere to DCS Program standard for compliance, budget and forecast

Job Qualifications:
- PMs with deep technology skills in one or more of the technologies who can work at the direction of a Data Center IT Build lead. Must be experienced and comfortable with the described technology, and flexible to operate in other technology space if needed.
- Must be able to think beyond the assigned role to anticipate potential issues, scope changes, and financial and schedule impacts, escalate as appropriate and to propose options to mitigate risks.
- Must be able to manage the "hands on" project details such as day by day project plans, "minute by minute" technology change controls, and change implementations, as these are delivery PM positions, not people management positions.
- Preference is for West Creek or Liberty, but due to space constraints, resources will most likely to be placed in Towers Crescent in McLean, VA. For resources outside of the Richmond region, travel to Richmond will be required for 1-3 days per week for in person design sessions and meetings.
