Description:

The Business Systems Analyst creates, modifies, tests, and documents PL/SQL code, tables, packages, procedures, functions, and database triggers. They will maintain applications data models and support Legacy application data migration using PL/SQL and store procedures, which includes checking database source code in/out of source control packages. Other responsibilities include:

- Must be able to manage the technical aspects of the database to ensure integrity/constraints are maintained.
- Ability to operate independently where appropriate; ability to understand when to escalate issues to management; ability to write Back out plans for DBA team; ability to train users in testing code migrating to Production; ability to establish effective working relationships with teams, peers; and management through contributions provided in team settings, working groups, and committees.
- Monitor and maintain the Costpoint and T&E applications, interfaces and processes to ensure maximum efficiency, performance and accuracy.
- Provide technical support to users and functional subject matter experts that have system questions, issues, and defects.
- Serve as point of contact with Deltek Support on Costpoint and T&E defects, upgrades and enhancements.
- Gather and analyze user requirements, translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of new enterprise-wide business process models involving custom tools/applications supporting Costpoint and T&E
- Design and set up of Batch jobs in Tidal Scheduler.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including requirements, specs, process flow documentation, and procedures.
- Participate and oversee custom code development and ensure adherence to SAIC Corp IT coding standards.
- Manage storage of technical specifications and code in PVCS Dimension application.
- Provide expertise and assistance to ensure that all processes are designed to meet SOX, audit and role security requirements.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree coupled with 5+ years' development/administration experience; OR an Associate's degree coupled with 7+ years' development/administration experience; OR a High School diploma coupled with 9+ years' development/administration experience.
- Experience with Oracle systems.
- A minimum of 2+ years' experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
- A minimum of 2+ years' experience with PL/SQL Databases Environments.
- Experience in system implementation and/or system maintenance and support is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating and presenting to a variety of audiences.
- Willing to work nights and weekends to process, monitor and support month end closing activities and special projects.

Desired Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of business processes in accounting, projects, and billing is preferred.
- Visio, PVCS (Serena Dimensions CM Web Client), Remedy Enterprise Scheduler and Tidal software, UNIX, Windows XP/7, Linux, 11g, Putty, Weblogic 8.x, 9.x. SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Toad, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and COM+ application configuration, SFTP protocols, UNIXLinux Shell Scripts.
- Project management skills with experience leading teams composed of developers, systems analyst, and functional SMEs.
- Familiar with Costpoint Back End table relationships to Front End application design.
- Experience with all core modules for Deltek Costpoint and T&E.
