Electronics Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our client in Galesburg, MI.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting product engineers with test execution and data collection.
- Designing and implementing product testing infrastructure.
- Assisting investigation of electronic components for Root Cause Failure Analysis.
- Troubleshooting electronic component issues.
- Selecting and ordering necessary parts for product development.
- Database creation and maintenance.
- Project design, implementation, fabrication, documentation, and user training.
- Projecting progress and budget management for small scale projects.
- Technical report, test procedure, and performance specification writing.
- Communicating with suppliers on component issues and change management.

Job Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronics or Electronic Engineering Technology from an accredited university with three (3) years of engineering experience in one or more of the following areas - aerospace, automotive, or commercial vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering technology from an accredited university with one (1) or more years engineering experience in one or more of the following areas - aerospace, automotive, or commercial vehicle.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to work efficiently in a group, as an individual, and in a team environment.
- Experience in electrical wiring InterconnecT systems (harness construction).
- Experience in design and construction of electrical circuits and electronics for integration testing
- Exceptional bench circuit analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Embedded Microcontroller experience.
- Exceptional solder skills (trained or certified to IPC standard J-STD-001 for mixed component rework or repair).
- Ability to use common lab electronic test equipment (example: oscilloscope, multi-meter, function generator).
- Strong skills in programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.
- Intermediate level LabVIEW experience for instrumentation and test equipment monitor and control is a plus.
