Job Title: Network Engineer, Systems Network Engineer, CISSP Engineer
Location: Vicksburg, Mississippi
Position Type: Full time permanent
Salary: $70k-$110k
Key skills/technologies: Cisco (Nexus, 7600, 7200, 6500, 3800, 3700, 3750, 3560, ASA, ACS), Foundry (BigIron), Dell, HP, Unix, TCPDump, Wireshark, Syslog, Spectrum, Network Compliance Manager, Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN/WAN/MAN, NetQoS, IOS Version management and IOS upgrades, Remedy ticketing system.
What you need for this position:
- CISSP certification. If not CISSP certified, candidate must possess or obtain Security+ certification w/in 3 weeks of hire and CISSP certification w/in 6 months of hire
- Bachelor†s Degree or equivalent with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Routing protocols - BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
- Layer 2 device configuration
- Experience managing LAN/WAN/MAN
- Device compliance management
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the TOP SECRET level.
What you'll be doing:
- Support all network devices that InterconnecT client locations and the Internet, including switching, routing and security devices across LAN/WAN/MAN topologies
- Monitor network infrastructure, implement new devices at various locations
- Configure and replace failed devices per guidelines
