Operations Network Engineer, Cisco Routers, Switches, Blue Coat, BGP, OSPF. New York. A leading name in Investment Banking require an Operations Network Engineer and the position will based at their offices in New York City.

The Operations Network Engineer will be part of a global operations team required to undertake remote deployment and execute changes to the network. Network infrastructure configuration and deployment using Cisco Routers and Switches IOS, CatOs, Cisco Firewalls, Bluecoat across all global locations. Undertake Operational change preparation and deployment on production banking network infrastructure for both large and small projects within a strict change management discipline global locations. Maintaining a client facing approach and ensuring customer satisfaction of clients of Global Networks and ensuring positive working relationships with other IT Teams and Clients at all times. Work with local and regional vendor management of carriers and infrastructure vendors. Design of support and operational procedures to handover to 1st line support and infrastructure monitoring teams as part of the ongoing improvement of the function.

The candidate must have 4 years+ experience with an Investment Bank or Financial organization or Service Provider within a strict change management discipline. Cisco routing and switching skills to CCNP level or equivalent
