As a provider of state-of-the-art enterprise class data centers in numerous markets we are in growth mode looking to add to our Data Center Engineering team. With a focus on unique customer solutions we have grown to become one of the largest privately owned data center companies on the West coast. Currently, we are looking to hire an experienced Data Center Engineer to maintain our mission critical facility, including HVAC maintenance and monitoring, as well as engineering the design and construction of new data centers.
What you need for this position:
- Experience in facilities management and building management systems.
- Strong HVAC experience
- A/C - D/C power fundamentals
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work evening/night shift and provide on-call availability if needed
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure i a huge plus
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitoring and maintaining the facilities HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance of facility equipment
- Perform emergency response and facilitate equipment start-up, repair and overhaul
- Prepare Run Books, layouts and diagrams for data center documentation
- Develop maintenance and operational plans
