We are actively recruiting for a Systems Analyst. As part of our Enterprise Information Management team, this role will serve to support initiatives around enterprise data management including: data governance, data definition, standardization, data integrity and privacy and security of information. This individual will work closely with the IT Enterprise Analytics, Data Architect and applications teams as well as the Data Stewards to within Christiana Care to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Enterprise Data Management program. This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

*Utilize analytical as well as business knowledge to identify areas of opportunity for enhanced data management.

*Plan basic approach and method of analysis in order to fulfill data management responsibilities: eg definition, standardization, quality and integrity of data.
*Apply systems analysis methods and techniques in order to identify improvements which can be made or, which are necessitated by internal or external regulations. Document and present conclusions, proposed solution and associated costs in "Solution-in-Principle" in order to gain user approval to proceed.

*Develop and document data specifics in detail to assure understanding and to gain agreement of data stewards and where pertinent, application owners. Utilize technical support from Architects, Enterprise Analytics, DBAs, Systems Programmers, and Senior Programmer/Analysts and IC analysts as required.

*Build and maintain effective user relationships in order to provide a climate receptive to systems improvement and to enhance understanding of the users business concerns.

Education and Experience Requirements:
*Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering or Business Administration. Graduate work in Business Administration is desirable.
*Experience in a hospital, clinical care and business process are preferred.
*Up-to-date knowledge of computer, telecommunication, and other information technology tools.
*Knowledge of system design and data management techniques.
*Experience in project management.
