We are currently seeking a senior level, Electrical Engineering professional with a background in DSP technology for a privately-held medical device company headquartered in Southern Connecticut (Greater East Haven Area).
In this role, you will be working on cutting edge patient monitoring technology, much of which is to be used under harsh environments (MRI, CT Scan, etc.), and your specific responsibilities will be working on improving current generation/next generation hardware and software communication.
This role will specifically focus on the Signal Processing technology and your role will be working with the DSP Filtering, working to improve noise immunity, etc. A strong background in filtering would be desired (Kalman, FFT, IIR, etc.), and a DESIRED (but not required) background would be any previous medical, healthcare, and/or FDA product experience.
The qualified candidate will IDEALLY bring an advanced degree (MASTERS DEGREE, Electrical Engineering, etc.) along with at least 5-8+ years of direct hands on experience. We are not requiring any specific DSP Hardware experience, however those with ANALOG DEVICES DSP chipset experience would be a plus (TI, Motorola, Others are fine too!).
