Mid to senior Level, BSEE/MSEE required

We are currently seeking a mid to senior level Embedded Systems professional for a privately-held medical device company headquartered in Southern Connecticut (Greater East Haven Area).

We are looking for an EE type with familiarity with both HW and SW systems, and who would consider themselves an expert in Embedded OS technology. Desired experience would be with any number of OS's, including Microsoft's CS7, Mobile 7, Android, Etc.

What we are looking for is someone that will be building an Embedded bridge, processing engine designed to operate in the information gathering (field) environment, that can take data in from various devices, and push it out on the network (taking data from medical devices from hospital rooms, take the date and push on NW.)

Someone that can take small processor and embed an OS (an OTS solution, not going to creating one from scratch here...can be Linux, Microsoft, Mobile, android etc) in it. We are going to be using someones chip, an OTS/off the shelf product like the ARM, cortex 3or 4 architecture, and will work with PCB Layout team and embed the OS in it.
