Discovery Scientist - Phage Display

Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a Discovery Scientist (Phage Display) to join our client in Cranbury, NJ.

Job Responsibilities:

- Experience with antibody/protein engineering techniques such as library screening in scFv or Fab format (phage/yeast or in vitro display methods) and protein. Knowledge with antibody structure and function is required.
- Molecular cloning experience with antibody/antibody formats in various vectors
- Strong experience with characterization of engineered proteins/antibodies using ELISA, Forte Bio-Octet and/or Biacore. Data analysis and trouble-shooting with these techniques/instruments is required

Job Qualifications:

- BS/MS in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering or related field with two (2) years of industry experience in protein biotherapeutics.
- Experience with antibody/protein engineering techniques such as library screening (phage/yeast or in vitro display methods) and protein design is required
- Experience with characterization of engineered proteins/antibodies using ELISA/Forte Bio-Octet/Biacore
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Motivation to be part of a high performance, diverse, and efficient scientific team.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Must have industry experience.
