This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DBA to join a Leading Investment Bank to work on a high profile project.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize and maintain databases
- Provide database architecture and detailed Datamodelling support and direction; assist with the improvement of table structure best practices
- Participate in full product life cycle (Agile driven) development of system components
- Serve as database architecture SME; provide best practices and assist in design of new Quartz data instances or environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues (performance, blocking, deadlocking, security issues etc.)
- Document processes and procedures (such as runbook, topology etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline and at least five years of technical work experience
- Experience across a range of languages and technologies, especially C++/C and Python
- Experience with Disaster Recovery implementation and testing using DR replication tools
- Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
