Position Description:

AIG Corporate has an opportunity for a Senior Process Excellence Manager to join the Process Excellence Team within the Legal Operations Center (LOC) in New York. You will serve as a critical thought partner by working closely with the LOC staff and leadership. Improvement opportunities focusing on improving existing services, eg Firm Management, Information Delivery and Billing, to increase cost savings within the Claims litigation process, and to work with LOC leadership to continuously evaluate and realign LOC strategy to align with the evolving customer needs.

This role is key in driving Process Excellence initiatives and contributing to establishing and maintaining a continuous process improvement culture within the LOC.

Lead and manage a variety of Process Excellence projects using best in class reengineering methodology (Six Sigma, Design, Lean, etc..)
Analyze the current process and cost structure of litigation process and identify where Litigation Management Services could be effectively used to reduce cost of litigation
Define baselines, benefit targets and performance measurements for services
Develop and deliver project presentations to all levels of management
Support process owners to clearly link project metrics to strategic and operational objectives using Process Excellence principles
Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to develop business solutions and lead teams through successful implementation and sustained performance
Deliver significant business impact
Successfully complete all project phases and achieve savings targets across broad business disciplines
Evaluate solutions and develop implementation plans
Develop rigorous control plans to ensure improvements are sustained on a long term basis
Responsible for training and developing process reengineering capability within entire LOC organization

Position Requirements
Candidates will be expected to possess the following professional and personal attributes:

Minimum of 9 years of related work experience a large global organization
Lean Six Sigma Certified Black Belt required. Certified Project Management preferred
Bachelors degree required, Masters degree is a plus
Ability to lead cross functional teams and individuals in a Matrix organization
Advanced proficiency in end to end process reengineering using data to drive decisions and recommendations
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with diverse personalities
Ability and experience to influence and drive change without direct authority
Excellent project management skills to lead teams directly and indirectly and can effectively juggle multiple priorities while delivering timely business results
Process driven, strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering results
Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels across the organization
Experience and keen ability to effectively facilitate medium to large groups in Continuous Improvement exercises (Kaizen, workout session, problem-solving, etc.,)
Advanced proficiency with Lean, Design, Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control with demonstrated analytical, problem solving and leadership skills
Proven analytical and business modeling skills
Proficient with MS Office, Visio, Project, and Minitab or similar statistical tool. BPM modeling tool a plus
