Sourcing Specialist

Yoh has a great six (6) month contract opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist to join our client located in Norwalk, CT.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure sourced material and services meet the needs of the business.
- Assist with procurement activities, which includes, requisition issuance, PO placement and invoice processing.
- Execute sourcing strategies and drive supplier negotiations to meet the quality, fulfillment and productivity requirements of the business.
- Drive productivity opportunities with the supply base to deliver cost out goals
- Assemble and follow-up on Sourcing metrics
- Drive TPS discounts

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sourcing or Technology
- One to three (1-3) years Oracle PO/AP experience
- Prior B2P/Sourcing experience
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Effective communication, presentation and influence skills/strong relationship building skills
- Strong process orientation
- Proven ability to use IT tools to solve business challenges
- Organized and results oriented
- Ability to work collaborative/Cross Functional in a Matrix environment and drive initiatives across organization

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Six Sigma training is a plus
