We have an opening for a Financial and Rates Summer Intern that will work in a team atmosphere and will support our Professional Resources group within our Energy Operations division. The selected candidate will be part of a team that provides a variety of high-end consulting services to electric utilities, particularly pertaining to the financial operation and management of those utilities.

Specific services include:
- Financial analysis and modelling for utilities including rate studies, cost-of-service analyses, impact fee analyses, and a variety of economic analyses
Depreciation studies, utility appraisal and valuation studies, and asset management evaluations
Research on industry leading practices as they relate to specific client needs

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent and 1+ years of work experience in a professional setting
Currently enrolled in a Baccalaureate level Engineering, financial or economics degree program at an accredited University, or recent graduate
Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Team player with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of MS Excel required
- Knowledge of MS Access/Database software a plus
- Interest in financial analyses related to the utility industry

This position is for Financial and Rates Summer Internship is anticipated to be for approximately 3 months; however, start and end dates may be adjusted as necessary to fit individual circumstances and the needs of the Company.
