Supply Chain Operations Resource

General Summary:

The MEM Supply Chain Operations Analyst contributes to the success of The Pepsi Beverages Company by analyzing open equipment move orders to optimize scheduling and routing operations. The Analyst will create equipment move schedules and truck routes, communicate scheduling to the customer and coordinate with local Sales and MEM departments to drive operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

• Provide a single point of contact to internal partners (Sales, MEM, etc) for market equipment move scheduling and routing activity


• Aggregate and review inbound order activity entered by locations via multiple sources (SalesPad, CETS_Bullpen, Fax, email, phone, etc)


• Create and manage the daily move schedule based on business rules (driven by national and local priorities) using CETS and AMS systems


• Communicate routes, schedules and subsequent changes to MEM and Sales


• Confirm equipment moves with customers by following call scripts to obtain answers to detailed questions on customer site preparation to ensure successful move execution and customer satisfaction.


• Act as primary contact for customers with questions or concerns related to market equipment move activity


• Appropriately resolve (problem solve) scheduling conflicts with customers, MEM and Sales


• Complete paperwork and data entry required for MEM move activities


• Provide leadership and guidance to MEM to improve resource utilization, operational efficiencies, processes, KPI performance and customer service levels.

Basic Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Business or other appropriate area


• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and ability to master CETS, AMS and other PBC systems


• One year of work experience in Sales Operations or MEM
